Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, having given ourselves wholly to Him, and having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost, we do now solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another and with Jesus Christ as our everlasting Savior.

We promise, therefore, in His strength:

To walk together in Christian love;

To strive for the advancement of this church in the grace, knowledge, peace, and holiness of Jesus Christ;

To promote its prosperity and spirituality;

To sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrine through regular attendance;

To contribute cheerfully, generously, and regularly to the support of the ministries and expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel among all nations.

We also promise to cultivate Christianity in our hearts and in our homes;

To religiously educate our children;

To seek the Salvation of our family, friends, community, State, Country and the World;

To be Justin our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deployment.

We commit ourselves to watch over one another in brotherly love;

To remember one another in prayer;

To aid one another in sickness and distress;

To cultivate a Christian sympathy in feeling and kindness in speech;

To be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation;

To be mindful and obedient to the communications of our Savior without delay.

We moreover promise that when we remove from this church, we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church of like faith and practice where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom glory for ever and ever.  Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21
